DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) & THEATRE | 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM | $25
Theatre can open the door to understanding relevant issues affecting society and motivate people to champion change. DEI has become an important aspect of modern theatre and it’s important to produce shows that make the audience think, reflect and potentially be open to change. Learn how shows for our season are selected with DEI in mind and also why developing an audience is critical to the success of shows.
Students will need to have read WATSON’S GO TO BIRMINGHAM in advance of this class. We will send a copy of the script in early January to those who have already registered. Students who register after Jan 3rd may not receive the script to read until Jan 12th. Please don't register at the last minute!
