Your invitation to Hogwarts has arrived! Develop acting skills while exploring characters and themes from J. K. Rowling’s wildly popular HARRY POTTER books. Learn to wield a wand, practice Quidditch drills, avoid Boggarts and Dementors while exploring the world of Hogwarts and Hogsmeade.
Though there is no official “sharing” at the end of this mini-mester, we will be working on skills and terminology and will to take some rough video of the process in a video yearbook format.
Students are invited to wear their robes. We will make practice paper wands on the first day of class.
**We DO meet when Greenville County Schools are off for Teacher Workdays or Holidays (except MLK Day), and MAY meet when schools cancel due to weather if the roads are safe in the afternoon.**
If needed—we will add a classtime before or after this class for multiple weeks to make up a class lost due to weather or issue a credit to use on a Spring or Summer class/camp.
