Students will create short stop-motion films, using action figures, “stuffies,” play dough, green screen technology, and voice overs. The emphasis is on how to make a short film rather than just how to act in one. As a class, develop a concept, create the script/storyboard, decide how to shoot and edit the short film.
Learn how to craft a story with storyboards to visualize what the camera will “see.” Explore location and cinematography including framing and composition, camera motion & camera angles. An awesome collaborative class for understanding all the elements that go into crafting of a short film.
We will be recording all through the semester and will send parent’s the video link of our work.
**We DO meet when Greenville County Schools are off for Teacher Workdays or Holidays.**
