A chance to explore the audition process while also honing acting techniques.

Create characters, explore dramatic interpretation of classic stories, learn lingo and challenge your imagination! Students hone projection and articulation skills while engaging the body in purposeful physical expression. Some at-home memorization required.

Though there is no official “sharing” at the end of this mini-mester, we will still be working on all the standard acting exercises, performance skills and terminology.  If the teacher elects to record the audition material at the end of the semester—we will send you a recorded link of your student’s audition piece.

If you have a 5th grader with at least a year's previous acting class experience, you may contact Jill Wolf    jill@scchildrenstheatre.org    regarding the ages of the other students enrolled in the class.  If the majority of the class is in the 6th-8th grade range, she will let you know and you may register for this class.
